Sobhan Badakhshan received a B.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from Iran University of Science and Technology (IUST), Tehran, Iran, in 2013 and the M. Sc. degree from Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, in 2015.
Currently, he is an associate researcher at the Center of Excellence in Management and Control of Power System, Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran.
He is a member of the Iran National Elites Foundation.
His research interests include economic and secure optimization of electric power systems, energy system optimization, renewable energy integration, smart grids, future energy markets, generation scheduling, operation of the integrated energy system, demand-side management, and low-carbon power planning.
